Hi! My name is Edward Feininger, and I am looking for an internship in Advertising, Public Relations, and all related fields.
I am a student in my second-to-last semester at the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication. Since transferring to UGA from the University of South Carolina I have become very involved on campus.
In my first semester, I joined the student-run publication Rouge Magazine. I have balanced my school work and Rouge magazine duties well enough to advance past the role of digital content associate and onto the executive board as a co-graphic design editor and then director of digital design.
I also joined the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) as an event planning committee member.
The following semester I was accepted to the Public Affairs Communications program. This program is the first of its kind. PAC is designed to help students get an advantage for starting a career in government communications, campaign management, lobbying, and other related fields.
Later in my second semester, the Talking Dog Agency hired me to be a Project Manager. I manage a motivated team of seven other students to complete tasks for our client. Our duties vary from social media execution to public relations, research/strategy, and art direction. I also am creating a final presentation of our results for UGA's annual "Battle of the Brands" competition.
I am looking for my next challenge and opportunity to grow in the field of Advertising and Public Relations by seeking an internship in digital advertising, brand strategy, digital/graphic design, public relations, external/corporate/public affairs communications, project & client management or any closely related field!
